Jennifer Scott
Jennifer Scott is the Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Events for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Jennifer currently leads all development efforts at SWE. Among her responsibilities, Jennifer manages SWE’s Corporate Partnership Council (CPC), along with more traditional philanthropy—foundation and government grants, individual gifts, and bequests. With over 15 years of experience in fundraising, Jennifer develops successful, integrated fundraising plans that enable SWE to advance its mission. In this role, Jennifer develops strategic partnerships that further SWE’s mission and impact the STEM community at large. While at SWE, Jennifer has developed the SWE/iRelaunch STEM Reentry Task Force and a Gender Corporate Culture Study. Before joining SWE, Jennifer worked on development processes and strategic planning initiatives for Rock For Reading, DonorsChoose, Community Organizing and Family Issues, BuildOn!, and City Year Chicago. Much of Jennifer’s work has focused on partnering with donors, recruitment and team development, volunteer training, grant writing, and fundraising support for the membership of these respective organizations and the communities that they serve.
